Firebird Raceway-April 8-10, 2005, Phoenix, AZ
Well it was the first race of the season and we were there with the new boat to do some more testing & tuning over the weekend. The weekend started out on Friday with Bob in the driver’s seat. He made two passes on Friday, one of which he wrecked the clutch and never told anyone.
Saturday morning found Ron in the driver’s seat trying to make a pass but unable to do so due to a burned up clutch. Sunday during 1st round Ron was running against Greg Tedesco and kicking up the biggest roaster tail that I have ever seen. During this pass, Ron would have beaten him, had he not blown a blower belt. (Sorry Greg)
To Sum up the Weekend…
Ron & Steve drove 12 hours from Canada (one way) to get to Tennessee to pick
up Bob & the rig
Ron, Bob & Steve then drove another 30 hours to get to Phoenix (one way)

Ain’t racing great???
We would like to take this opportunity to thank one of our greatest sponsors, Bill Spresser from the “Days Inn Phoenix Airport”. We would also like to thank each and every one of the “B & R Boys” for all your help over the weekend… your dedication to this team and this program constantly amazes me. Without these people’s constant work and support we would not be where we are today. Thanks guys… you are the back bone of this team!! Also, a special thanks to Roger way and to Brian for all your help over the weekend.
Well all-in all, it was a successful weekend for this team as they went home with an entire boat in tact and two drivers who were safe and uninjured!! I really think that once this team irons out all of the little gremlins that they will really have something to work with!! The future looks bright!!
