The Future has Arrived for B&R Racing

Well after several months of no website updates I am sure that you have all been wondering what has been going on with the B & R racing team.
After many long months and hours of hard work, Ron & Bob are finally ready to showcase they’re new ride. Since last September, Ron, Rexy & Rick have worked on this side of the border putting together this most strange looking piece of equipment while Bob, Scotty & Steve have worked on the other side of the border redoing the engine & finishing the new trailer.
It has been a grueling 6 months for them all but it finally all came together last weekend when we took the new boat to Tennessee to finish up some of the last things.
After several attempts to put together a fuel boat that got these guys down the track in one piece, Ron & Bob decided that it was time to look for a new hull design. Although the Deavers made it down the track ok, shut down seemed to be a problem and after Ron’s crash last August, it was decided by both men…a change was due.
“Ellison Race Concepts”
The new hull design shown to the left was purchased from Dan Ellison of “Ellison Race Concepts”. Dan is also the designer of this new hull. This hull design has all four sponsons, which are completely adjustable, removable and replaceable. It comes complete with a full steel tube chassis system, will work with single or twin prop design and will accept current capsule designs.
Final Touches On Liquid Quiker-March 4 & 5th-Tennesse
Last weekend we took the boat to Tennessee for the final touches. Rick, Randall, Steve, Scotty, Ron & Bob thrashed all weekend to get the engine installed & fitted, new parachute brackets on, the wiring finished and the dolly trailer changed to accommodate this new boat.
With only a couple of small things left to do, we will be returning to Tennessee next weekend to put this new boat in the water for its first test run.
Ron & Bob will be debuting this new machine in Phoenix on April 8-10th at our first race of the year.

We are all looking forward to an exciting race season this year and are hoping that this new aerodynamic outrigger design will be the wave of the future and bring this team some much deserved and needed success.
