A Successful Weekend With The New Boat

First of all I would like to thank all of you who have emailed us or signed our new Guest Book. The response to the new boat and the website have been fabulous. Your good wishes and encouragement have been greatly appreciated!!
Our weekend in Tennessee went better than expected. Friday the boys worked at completing the last few things that they needed to do to the engine to get it ready for the test run. They had a few little glitches but got them all sorted out so that we were ready to put it in the water on Saturday.

Dan Ellison of “Ellison Race Concepts”
Saturday we took the boat to the “Montgomery Lake” and floated it first and then Ron went for his first ride. The wind was high, the waters were choppy and tensions were high as the engine roared to life and Ron got ready for the run. Ron “mashed the gas” as usual and away he went. It was a surprising and awesome run for this new machine. The emotion of the moment was easily seen on every face that was there…including Dan & Donna Ellison to watch they’re dream of many years come to life!!

The tears of relief and cheers of joy were shared by all but the most impressive was the look on Ron & Bob’s faces after the run!! All they’re hard work of the past 7 months just came together in one magic moment.
We would like to say a special thank you to our fantastic crew, whom if you were not there this would not have been possible. Rick, Rexy, Randall, Scotty & Steve and also to Dan for going in the frigid waters to tow Ron out in the lake. A very special thank you from the entire B & R Racing team to Dan Ellison for the creation of this “outrigger Hydro” and also to Ryan McFarlan for getting it all on video!
